2. narcotic drugs, psychotropic, potent, radioactive, explosive, corrosive, flammable, and other dangerous substances;
3. poisonous animals and plants;
4. banknotes of the Russian Federation and foreign currency;
5. perishable food products, beverages;
6. items that, by their nature or packaging, may pose a danger to postal workers, or soil or damage other postal items and postal equipment.

When importing into the territory of the Russian Federation

1. Printed and audiovisual materials: containing calls for extremist and terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism; of a pornographic nature; produced or distributed in violation of the requirements of the legislation of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Community customs union on elections and referendums; aimed at promoting Nazi attributes or symbols, or attributes or symbols similar to Nazi attributes or symbols to the point of confusion; containing other information that may harm the political or economic interests of the Russian Federation, its state security, the health and morality of citizens;
2. any types of weapons (their parts), cartridges for them (their parts), articles structurally similar to civilian and service weapons;
3. dangerous waste;

7. human organs and (or) tissues, blood and its components;
8. plants in any form and condition, plant seeds;
9. live animals, with the exception of bees, leeches, silkworms;
10. ozone-depleting substances;
11. plant protection products falling under the scope of Annexes A and B of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants of May 22, 2001;
12. tools for the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources:
13. ready-made knotted fishing nets, produced by machine or by hand from synthetic nylon or other polyamide monofilaments with a thread diameter of less than 0.5 mm and mesh sizes of less than 100 mm (structural mesh step size of less than 50 mm);

15. electric fishing systems and devices consisting of electric signal generators, with connected conductors and a battery, which together perform the function of extracting (catching) aquatic biological resources by means of electric current);
16. alcoholic beverages, ethyl alcohol, beer;
17. any types of tobacco products and smoking mixtures;
18. radioactive materials;
19. cultural values;
20. goods subject to rapid spoilage;
21. precious stones in any form and condition, natural diamonds, with the exception of jewelry.

List of items prohibited for mailing by airmail

1. Firearms, signal, pneumatic, gas weapons, component parts of firearms, signal, pneumatic, gas weapons, ammunition, mock-ups of such items, including unequipped grenades, shells and other similar items, cold weapons (including throwing), all types of knives, stun devices.
2. Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors.
3. Explosive substances and articles containing them. Example: TNT, PETN, nitroglycerin, ammonal, granitole, dynamite, hand grenades, rockets, shells, ammunition, detonators, percussion caps, gunpowder, fireworks, pyrotechnic compositions, rifle cartridges.
4. Flammable, toxic and non-flammable and non-toxic gases and articles containing them. Example: gas lighters, compressed and liquefied gases in cylinders, hydrogen, propane, butane, lacquers and deodorants in aerosol packaging, carbon dioxide, fire extinguishers, chlorine, mustard gas.
5. Flammable liquids and articles containing them. Example: gasoline, kerosene, solvents, acetone, lacquers, oil paints, nitro enamels, primers, removers, sealants, ethers, glues based on organic solvents, cosmetic lotions, colognes, perfumes, toilet water, nail lacquers, fir oil.
6. Flammable solids and articles containing them. Example: matches, sulfur, any metal powders, coated aluminum powder, magnesium, “Bengal lights,” white and yellow phosphorus, napalm, coal, calcium carbide, sodium.
7. Oxidizing substances, organic peroxides and articles containing them. Example: ammonium nitrate fertilizer, ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, calcium chlorate, bleaches, hydrogen peroxide, some hardeners.
8. Toxic (poisonous) substances and articles containing them. Example: arsenic, nicotine, cyanide, pesticides, strychnine, bromoacetone.
9. Infectious substances and articles containing them. Example: diagnostic samples, biological products, rabies virus, clinical and medical waste.
10. Radioactive substances and articles containing them. Example: radionuclides, isotopes.
11. Corrosive substances and articles containing them. Example: electrolytes for batteries, mercury, sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic and other acids, caustic soda.
12. Other dangerous substances and articles containing them. Example: lithium batteries, dry ice.

It is forbidden to use metal boxes and containers, foil, metallized paper and fabrics for packaging.
